NEW IN 2022 - WILDWOOD NOW OFFERS RENTAL KAYAKS, CANOES, SUP & FLOATING MATS

We offer hourly, daily and weekly options for those not staying at Wildwood!

For hourly rentals you can launch right on site (note no use of our beach area please - that is for cottage renters - there are lots of spots along the river you can stop at).

One Day rentals you can launch here or pick up and take to your location (no delivery available).

For Two Day rentals and longer we can deliver - please contact with delivery address and we will give you a rate. Generally the rate is $10 + $1.25/km for drop off and pick up.

Safety kit is included, as well as PFD (1 for single kayaks, 2 for tandem kayaks and canoes & 1 for SUP). Additional PFD can be rented for a small fee.

In order to rent we require:

• Photo ID

• Credit card hold for $500 min when taking any items off site.

• Liability waiver signed noting you are responsible to bring the equipment back in the same condition it was provided to you in (min age to sign rental agreement is 18 years old).

Our hours of operation are 8am to 7pm. If you do not return the item by closing and someone has to wait for you to drop it off, you will be charged $3 per minute.

We ask you return the items in the same condition they were rented to you as. That includes ensuring they are not excessively dirty. We reserve the right to deduct a minimum $50 cleaning fee from your damage deposit if the items are returned dirty.

We do not sell fishing licenses on site. You can purchase them online here or at BJ Tackle in Bewdley. A fishing license is required by law to fish in Canada.

We do sell worms in the office ($6.00 for 2 dozen). The closest bait shop is BJ Tackle in Bewdley.

We understand if you need to change the date of your booking or cancel due to thunder or lightning. However if it is just a bit of rain and you do not cancel the day before, we will charge you for the full day rental.

If you cancel without a weeks notice and we are unable to rebook the rental, we will charge the credit card on file the full amount of the rental. Please respect the cancellation policy. If the credit card on file is not sufficient to cover the rental we reserve the right to take the customer to small claims court and include the cost of our time to do so and court costs in the suit.
